What I'm questioning is that the package has the same price for both Mac and PC, why then Mac can't get the same content (of the package) like PC? Do you think it is fair? That's what I'm concern about. My point is that Microsoft should treat the price differently if they can't give the same content (in this case: less content) to Mac like they do to PC. Fair is subjective. I would suspect Microsoft looks at it this way: The price for Office is x. Under Windows, Microsoft is including more because people with Windows are also paying them for a Windows License, so they want to encourage that as well as sell more Windows licenses. So instead of looking at it that MAC gets less for the same price, look at it that Windows gets more for the same price. I'm not saying that is exactly how MSFT thinks. As Scott explained, MS has to redevelop their software for MACs. The cost of development for MAC per user I would think is significantly higher. As such, it is actually surprising it isn't substantially more expensive considering the number of MAC user is substantially less than Windows. One way or another, you and I are not going to change a thing and MS won't be listening to a thing any of us say on a forum. If you want any traction you'd need to build a social media movement (Facebook, Twitter.).
